The Liar

She's too fat
He's too slight
She's too ugly
He's too white
She's not sexy
He's not hot
Her three kids
His bald spot

Factors plastic bless the few
Who live the lie that's handed you
Like lambs to slaughter, you don't see
Fated for idolatry

The rules are not set up for you
To do the things you're meant to do
Instead they pave a path of dark
Extinguishing your special spark

When The Liar rules, he's leading fools

The things you think you want are not
The things worth having or hard fought
They're shadows of what you could be
But you still think you're living free

What will it take to turn your eyes
From selfish dreams born out of lies
The numbing pain you're forced to feel
Is all you get for what you steal

When The Liar rules, he's leading fools

"Don't hate the playa, hate the game"
Never heard words so pathetically lame
The game is played by those who don't
Have the spine to prove they won't

So love is real, but just in song
Hormones lead from right to wrong
Here it is and welcome to it
Lost it all before you knew it
