I suppose there are probably people who either think it's overstating
things by calling Antifa a terrorist group, or at least they might think
that all the negative hype about Antifa is just alt-right propaganda.
Most of the time, we don't get a clear view of Antifa tactics. Back when Andy Ngo was attacked on the streets of Portland by either members of, or those inspired by, Rose City Antifa, we had video: Conservative writer Andy Ngo roughed up at Portland antifa/right wing protests That made the news cycle for a few days, then people moved on. There were posts exposing cement milkshakes and posts debunking cement milkshakes, and a lot of people debated about how bad or good Antifa are. Then there was the incident recorded in Canada, where two elderly people were merely trying to cross the street at the wrong time. This was pre-COVID-19, so the masks were standard Antifa anonymous garb, not virus protection: Antifa Harass Elderly Couple Crossing The Street A few weeks before that, we see more anti-police activity from Antifa in Portland: Antifa caught on camera harassing police at climate change rally And a few months before that, we saw this cowardly display by Antifa: Unarmed hero saves elderly guy from armed ANTIFA terrorists If you have time, you can search for Antifa violence yourself, there are plenty of examples caught on video. This begs the question: if this is happening with such frequency, why isn't the mainstream media talking more about it? Could it be because they still characterize Antifa as genuine anti-fascists, fighting the good fight? Now, as of June 6th, 2020, we have video proof that Antifa are not just a bunch of unemployed kids acting as independent voices who happen to coincidentally all show up at a protest wearing the same black garb and carrying backpacks filled with who-knows-what. Now we know for certain they are organized, and execute planned violent exploits: Black Man Catches ANTIFA Members In The Middle Of A Terror Attack And just in case YouTube decides to take the video down, here is the same video on Bitchute, where opinions are not suppressed: Black Man Catches ANTIFA Members In The Middle Of A Terror Attack In light of this it doesn't surprise me at all when Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, confirms the riots that completely burned down 67 businesses, and damaged over 1500 by fire or other means were instigated by white supremacists and radical anarchist groups, not the people there to peacefully protest George Floyd's death. Antifa often display a circle around the capital 'A', the symbol for anarchy. However, it should be noted by reasonable people, that over 1500 buildings damaged would take a lot more people than a few outsider groups bent on instigating violence. The truth is many people from Minneapolis, the protesters themselves, had to also be involved. That's a sobering issue most don't want to consider, in their desire to morally support the resistance against a recorded act of unreasonable force. For your further enlightenment, an exceedingly long list: A list of the buildings damaged, looted in Minneapolis and St. Paul Looking at that list and the enormity of the carnage boggles my mind. Some glance at that list and dismiss it, commenting that sometimes such violence is necessary. To them I simply shake my head, because if that logic makes sense to them, there's likely nothing that will change their minds short of their own business, house or car being destroyed by these insurgents. I thought the original civil rights movement in the 1960's already proved that "by any means necessary" is a dead end, and peaceful protest by enough people can move mountains. Hard learned lessons are too easily forgotten. This violent, destructive behavior is clearly not designed to unite us. Antifa are the worst kind of terrorist, if there can be such a distinction: they are born and raised in the very country they wish to destabilize, and they have plans and instructions to achieve that goal. For the sake of our country's survival, the next question for our federal law enforcement agencies needs to be: who are the ones in charge of organizing this violent sedition? |
