I'm not a radical. I'm not a "far-right" anything. I'm a conservative who thinks the unthinkable now seems possible: mass insurrection that leads to bloody revolution.
I've seen a lot go on in this country in my five decades on Earth. I've witnessed some amazing accomplishments. I've enjoyed the fruits of my labor, and cherished the loved ones in my tiny circle. I've also seen a lot of disturbing things happen, as we all have. Many of those have been in times so recent, we can't keep up with each new one. I spent the night before watching this video featuring Bret Weinstein, the professor who had the political standoff with radical leftist college students at Evergreen college in Washington State three years ago. Weinstein is not a conservative, in case you're wondering. Weinstein accurately predicted the present state of affairs three years ago when the rest of the world dismissed the Evergreen activist behavior as harmless kids acting out. In the aforementioned interview with Joe Rogan, Weinstein lays out the now disturbing reality we are faced with right here, right now. The reality most of us never even considered could ever happen in the United States of America. I'm not a fan of Steven Crowder. What I mean by that is I don't listen to his every word and nod my head. He's controversial sometimes, and I'm not prone to align myself with people who provoke. Often I agree with his opinion, but not always. He recorded a personal video yesterday that cut to the chase: FELONY MURDER?! We are now all 'extremists'... Now, in 2020, in the most advanced and prosperous country in history, we are currently facing possibilities that haven't been seen on this soil since the Civil War ended in 1865. I'm concerned for my family, as everyone else should also be, and I'm taking precautions for their safety, as everyone who lives in or near urban areas should be doing at this point. This is not a drill. Apparently the absence of adversity for many decades, that produced multiple generations of self-involved, entitled brats who hate their country of birth and throw bricks at those who are paid to protect them, is about to be replaced by adversity we may not have seen in all of our 244 years. The tragedy is none of this was truly necessary...which is the same hindsight observation that sadly echoes through the blood soaked centuries. |
