Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) tweeted this on June 20th, 2020:
AOC 6-20-2020 tweet If my color scheme makes you uncomfortable or suspicious, you can see it on Dan Bongino's channel as well: Deeply Disturbing Video Emerges of this Leftist Activist So what does this tweet tell us? Several things. 1) There is a perception, correct or not, that "Zoomers" (people born between approximately 1995 to 2010) are Marxist sympathizers who want a socialist takeover of America. 2) Teens using TikTok (an application created in China) are able to disrupt free speech, and are likely able to do so using other social media platforms as well. 3) There are still people in America who believe that Trump voters are white supremacists, despite real world, personal experiences that indicate otherwise. 4) A member of congress experiences pride and obvious satisfaction that free speech was disrupted, and views the efforts to thwart the peaceful rally as a triumph. 5) AOC implies that the gathering was spreading COVID-19 by virtue of its existence, despite all the precautions exercised, such as temperatures taken, hand sanitizer and masks being handed out to every attendee. ===================== Apparently there does seem to be a difference in public perception between those who swarm the streets to yell and scream, many without masks, about "Black Lives Matter," "F*** The Police" and "End America," and those who peaceably, without looting and burning and violence, gather to hear their own president speaking. Oddly enough, the former is considered appropriate, the latter is not. From an analytical standpoint, if Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa think they have gained a foothold for socialism because a bunch of misguided teenagers fiddling on their computers deceived a ticketing system, they may want to reconsider. That kind of faceless, cowardly mischief is not a serious threat to the republic. Digging even deeper, BLM is considered to be masterful in their strategies. This can't be denied due to their rapid rise to political power in the last few years. But how masterful was it to play the violent hand in 2020? A bunch of "teens on TikTok" operating under an anti-free speech directive, does not a revolution make. What is being forgotten, overlooked, or maybe even dismissed is the silent majority of people in the United States who simply want to continue to enjoy their freedoms, work where they want, hire who they want, be friends with who they want, own guns if they want, say and think what they want without fear of reprisal, and experience this all in relative safety. The radical element in our country that is pushing for destabilization, a classic insurrectionist technique for the changing out of ruling political ideologies, can be assumed to be thinking that such destabilization will create a power vacuum that will be filled by those with allegedly superior socialist directives. Close examination of CHAZ/CHOP, where activists are allegedly trying to affect serious change in the world, will allow the observant viewer to note there is no significant leadership, and the experiment happening in Capitol Hill in Seattle is little more than an excuse to get high, pitch a tent, get free food, and play revolutionary while the rest of the world enjoys laughter at CHAZ's THC-soaked expense, via a growing number of eye witness videos. Despite her support of CHAZ/CHOP, I would imagine Seattle's mayor Jenny Durkan is also chuckling about her little "summer of love," as she doesn't seem to be sufficiently contemplating the danger to her own personal safety at the hands of those who have consistently demonstrated no respect for authority. The insidious actions of Marxists academics through the last five decades have resulted in multiple generations of United States citizens forming hatred of their own country based on critical theory education that engenders anger and dissatisfaction via the narrative that nothing good has come from the United States, and that it's all due to Western Civilization. The same Western Civilization that brought science, industry, and capitalism's free markets to the fore, generating wealth that led to the level of comfort and leisure in the United States these revolutionaries oddly wish to dismantle. I can appreciate the cleverness of the Marxist strategy, that being the use of university tenure and the First Amendment to insulate an anti-American agenda. As we look around us in wonder and anxiety, it has clearly been an effective strategy. We do seem poised on the precipice of some kind of major nationwide confrontation. We should not lose heart during this time. Something you may not know is ever since the COVID-19 lock down, three months running so far, gun sales have been breaking records in every city across the country. High powered semi-automatic rifles in particular. Call and check your local gun shop to verify this. They can't keep them on their shelves. As soon as they come in, they're gone. When I say multiple millions of guns have been sold these last few months, I'm not exaggerating for effect. Gun laws in all 50 states require some kind of verification of law abiding status before citizens are allowed to purchase firearms. This means that all the guns and ammo being stocked up on are not going to criminals or insurrectionists. The vast bulk of the weaponry is going to people who just want to peacefully live their lives and be left alone. Peacefully live their lives and be left alone. Let that sink in. That basic desire, heartfelt by those who the revolutionaries have deemed racist and worthy of hatred, doesn't seem unreasonable to me. The purpose of the Second Amendment to the Constitution was to protect us from the tyranny of government. In 2020, it is instead allowing us to protect ourselves from the tyranny of woke insurrectionists. What if the police fail? What if the military can't be everywhere at once? What happens when violent anti-Americans run wild in the streets, and law abiding citizens are armed more than they ever have been in the 244-year history of the United States? Let's hope we don't have to find out. That's one memory none us needs. |
