Some very specific details have come to my attention today that I was not aware of previously.
The book entitled "This Book Is Gay" by Juno Dawson and David Levithan has been the subject of much controversy regarding its appearance in various schools around the country. On one side of the controversy are the radical leftists and liberal sympathizers, who believe children should be taught about sexual concepts from an early age, and believe that removing books that teach perverted sexual activities to minors amounts to censorship that violates our First Amendment rights, regardless of local or regional obscenity laws. On the other side of the controversy are parents who simply don't want their young children exposed to sexual concepts that they are too young to properly assess and assimilate. These parents have no desire to keep perverts from accessing their perverted materials privately, they simply wish to keep those materials away from children who aren't even thinking about these kinds of bizarre activities. Children by their very nature don't even want to think about sexual things, and only start doing so when someone prematurely introduces the concepts to them. As I have zero interest in reading this unapologetic filth that allegedly 'educates' people on the finer aspects of pansexual fetishes, I was ignorant regarding specific contents of the book, though via conservative media I was made aware of the graphic illustrations and descriptions of sex that should only be appropriate for adults in a free society. I add the "in a free society" qualifier because ultimately none of humanity is well served in the long term by dipping their genitals in the murky slime of ever-more degrading and debasing perversions. However today I learned that not only is homosexual sex described and promoted in the book, but disgusting, unsanitary and unsafe activities like urinating on others or being urinated on, eating human feces, licking another person's anal sphincter, participating in disease-spreading orgies, utilizing holes cut into the walls of public restroom stalls to give and receive oral sex from potentially infected strangers, and inhaling a drug that is used specifically in promiscuous communities to lower inhibitions and deliberately motivate the individual toward more and more degenerate methods of achieving orgasm. Why did this new knowledge merit an essay? As I referenced in the recent essay called "Pronouns and rainbows," there seems to be an oblivious myopia prevalent in our current culture in the United States that exclusively envisions a future with more and more profligate activity, toward an Omega Point where everyone has sex with everyone in a gargantuan expression of unbridled sensuality that incurs no limits whatsoever, even on the age of the participants. What these purveyors of perversion aren't considering is the one thing that separates the United States from every empire that came before us. Yes, as a culture we seem to be diving deeper and deeper into the toilet of human behavior. Yes, the Left has captured our most powerful institutions and for decades now has been convincing each successive generation that to evolve they must abandon wisdom from the past, and embrace anything and everything that leads us in the opposite direction. I won't go into depth about Romans chapter one here, but suffice it to say as Christians we can be one hundred percent confident that our country has been under the judgment of God, the King of the Universe, ever since the 1960's. There is a chronological order to His enumerated judgments for those who hide or twist the truth, and we wouldn't be the first nation that fell because of the collective sins committed against the Lord. As that order is clearly described in the Bible, we know that as a nation we are in the final stage before collapse. These details mean nothing to the radical Left, as they press forward with ever more outrageous cultural phenomena that shames and marginalizes the normal, toward a fantasy world where orgasm becomes the center of worship. But here's the one little roadblock none of them seem to consider. Despite the Left's efforts to vilify and corrupt the "hetero-normative", the vast majority of the population will still want to fall in love with someone of the opposite sex, still want to procreate and nurture their children, and still want to personally aspire to something greater than their own carnal sensuality. How can I say that with confidence? Because I merely described the hard-wired aspects of humanity, both biological and spiritual, regardless of national or cultural affiliations. Any distractions that take away from those three aspirations (love, children, the sacred) will always eventually fail and be relegated to the dark corners where they belong. It's all about survival of the species, and anomalies are nothing more than temporary footnotes, they are not prescriptions or blueprints for a future dissolute utopia that has never succeeded for long in history and never will. Furthermore, because our country is unique in its focus on individual freedom and protected rights given by God, the United States could never devolve into a Sodom or Gomorrah, no matter how much the perverts of our society long for such an oppressive nightmare. Long before the government could fully codify the orgiastic dreams of the profligate activists, the masses themselves would violently revolt. And precisely because of the Second Amendment, which was so wisely included in our Constitution, nothing the government could enact would prevent the complete overthrow of tyranny. It would certainly be a protracted experience, but the end result would not be a coast-to-coast Plato's Retreat, rest assured. Make no mistake. What the radical LGBTQ+ activists are advocating for isn't love and freedom, though they expend a great deal of effort trying to guilt us all into perceiving their machinations that way. No. What they are advocating is nothing less than institutionalized sexual tyranny. Tyranny over any objections that a normal person with children would raise regarding this ridiculous assault on all that once was decent in our society. As this topic is highly polarized in 2023, I will freely admit I do stand on a particular side, and I recognize there are others who devoutly stand on the other side. To the most ardent of the LGBTQ+ activists, as I have a keen interest in not living my life as they prescribe, I would pose a single question in regard to this subject: What was wrong with simply keeping one's sexual activities private? It doesn't take an Internet search to verify the fact that before children were added to the equation, most adults were fine with letting people express themselves sexually however they wished. There was no desire for or impetus toward any form of personal censorship. Hey, this is a free country, right? Unfortunately, the radical Left severely miscalculated their power base, and the extent to which their course will be corrected remains to be seen. If I were them, I'd think about trading in the bullying, arrogant tactics for a more humble approach, as the demerits against them are piling up in the minds of the average citizen. Let us all pray that the correction, when it finally arrives, isn't the same one exercised over the Weimar Republic in Nazi Germany. |
