Mia Olson and the chain of lies

Today, someone knocked on our door. As providence would have it, it was none other than Mia Olson, running for reelection to the Bloomington School Board.

Our exchange was short, but two important truths rose out of it.

Truth number one: when I asked her why she supported supplying sexually explicit material to children, she lied and said they did not.

At that point I asked my wife to have our son go to another room in the house.

I turned back to Mia and then listed some of the disgusting contents of the book "This Book is Gay" that is available in the Bloomington High Schools.

She had no response to me listing these things, because now she knew I was fully aware of the contents of books she approves of for Bloomington children.

I then informed her that because of the nature of what she was doing, that I was showing restraint in the way I was talking to her.

Truth number two: when I said that, she responded by saying, "What would you like to *do*?"

She then backed away as though she were in danger and I told her to take her ridiculous accusations of violence and get out of my yard.

This is a typical page from the Leftist playbook. They feel emboldened to do whatever they want, and if you express any dissent they accuse you of bigotry and hatred, and because they are craven and without ethics they deliberately equate stern words with violence in order to project their own sick fantasies.

If the people of Bloomington continue to vote for individuals like this, they will be knowingly consigning their children to a world in which there are no limits to the selfish pursuit of whatever whim they wish to entertain.
