On the matter of reality, no pun intended, contemplation of the subject in light of twenty-first century western ethos tends to frustrate anyone seeking clarity.
On the one hand we are told that objective truth is non-existent because truth is subjective to every individual and is dictated by how one chooses to perceive reality. On the other hand, relentless contingencies such as death by bullet seem unwilling to acquiesce to imaginative alternatives. Marvel Studios aside, no human has been able to use his or her 'truth' to deflect a deadly projectile. I won't waste time arguing with dullards who still insist that their truths are different from mine. Anyone with an intellect worth acknowledging knows these childish dreamers have implemented the word 'truth' as a substitute for the word 'opinion.' This substitution was deliberately introduced to produce the effects we see now. Along with substituting the word, they have also substituted the accompanying concepts. One of the inevitable effects of believing that one's opinion automatically becomes unassailable sacred reality is that when two different truths (opinions) clash, there may not be a middle ground they can both agree to inhabit. Without an objective reality to reference, the impasse is impossible to fix. This destructive result was anticipated from the beginning by the authors of today's confusion. As of September 2025 in the United States, that confusion is no longer just a source of endless vitriol in social media. The confusion has now given birth to full-fledged justification of murder. Many people have commented that Charlie Kirk's murder by Tyler Robinson marked a major change in how life will be lived in the United States. But I think as tragic as the loss of Charlie Kirk truly is, the real marker of societal moral trajectory change was when so many people publicly supported Luigi Mangione. The Marxist envy-generating propaganda that has been fed to our young people for decades has now resulted in an alarmingly large percentage of the general population that thinks murdering a CEO is a good thing because of what they consider to be terrible business practices of the corporation the CEO works for. But it goes much further than that. The supporters of Mangione and Robinson will tell you that these two are heroes who bravely acted against the evil of the wealthy-conservative-capitalist-heterosexual-misogynist-racist-fascist-white-Christian-patriarchy. Apparently the 'truth' for many people is the existence of an oppressive monolith that is populated not with human beings like husbands, wives, children, parents and friends, but instead with faceless fascist Nazi militias who are all out to destroy everyone with blue hair, a nose ring and a dog collar. This was the entire purpose of the twenty-first century language manipulation from the Left. They deliberately called and characterized conservatives as Nazis for the sole purpose of eventually making it acceptable to murder them, much like the opposite tactic of implementing euphemisms to soften the brutal reality of gestational murder with less offensive terms like "health care" and "elective termination." The same crowd that insists it is horrifically inappropriate to let young women see videos of actual real-life abortion procedures are the ones who are retweeting videos of the graphic, bloody explosion of Charlie Kirk's neck and dancing alongside them with Cheshire Cat grins. In conclusion: If you are on the side that considers murder acceptable for the sake of some shared cause, and yet somehow still acquit yourself of any moral obligation to take responsibility for that philosophy, and furthermore consider your opinion righteous, you might consider some very old wisdom that has stood the test of time: Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. This implies the corollary that those who don't show mercy will not receive mercy. But hey, why would that disturb you at all when you're busy foaming at the mouth over anyone who disagrees with your truth? |
